Review Submitted May 24, 2007 The Bear is simply not worth it. I used to go there every Thurs night for cheap pitchers of good beer. No longer will I wait in line just to be felt-up by some jack-a** gym addict and his sweaty stubby fingers just to get in, while his scrawny, but equally annoying frat bro scrutinizes my driver's license. - Swinger, USA

Review Submitted Apr 17, 2007 The MBG rocks. Who needs a campus bar when this is in Chico State's backyard. Good Food, Great Drink Specials all week. This was my second home while going to school. It is a backyard/patio party every weekend, summer time especially. Great place to take friends who have never been to Chico. Great place to kick off the day or evening bar crawl. - John, USA

Review Submitted Mar 24, 2007 The Bear is a good place to stop by, but is certainly not the best bar in town. It's a nice "touristy" bar. The people there are tools and the bouncers are total douches. It's also WAY too crowded. Stop by for a drink... but spend most of your money elsewhere. - Erin, USA

Review Submitted Jul 10, 2006 This is the best bar to party at year round. There is something going on every night from bear-e-oke on mondays to trike races on wednesday and Sunday Funday. There are four bars to provide enough spirits for your liquid pleasure. Hot girls, hundreds of people, cheap drinks need I say more!
