Review Submitted Apr 17, 2006 My buddy and I ride bikes -- he's in Tracy and I'm in San Leandro; so we meet here (halfway) for rides. The bartender is absolutely the friendliest, most accommodating man you'll ever meet in a bar. The drinks are a nice pour and the service is prompt -- he's a real bartender who always scans the room (we normally sit at a table) for patrons who are empty or near-empty. The establishment itself is squirreled away behind a cheesy strip mall so you'd better believe there's 99% locals only, and therefore friendly. As a matter of fact, my buddy left his wallet on his bike for roughly 30 minutes! One of the locals said, "It'll still be there," and whaddya know, it was! There's a couple of big screen TV's and the bar itself is fairly much a circular Cheers-type serving area, which I personally always love, and a shuffleboard. They also advertise lingerie shows and the like but they're on weekdays and we normally just get there on weekends. They've been closed for about 7 weeks now because they're moving to a new property about 50 feet away and it should be nice. - Mike, Country? The USA (duh!)
